Hope & Quietly Wait

In Lamentations 3, goodness is the key of verses 25-27, and verse 26 teaches that the goal of each should be the salvation of the Lord. Whether it is the end of a kingdom (Judah), or us today our goal should be the same. While the words, “hope and quietly wait” show our anticipation, perseverance, endurance, and patience toward such salvation as the Lord offers. We have assurance in that salvation by way of the gospel of Jesus Christ. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of god” (Rom. 5:1-2).
